Sarah Manning, a streetwise Brit by upbringing, has had a difficult life, living in foster care with a flamboyantly gay foster brother, artist Felix Dawkins, both under the care of their equally tough foster mother Siobhan Sadler, who eventually moved them all to Toronto. All single Sarah really wants is to provide a comfortable and stable life for her adolescent daughter, Kira. Sarah's life changes in an instant when she witnesses a woman who looks exactly like her commit suicide by stepping in front of a train. Witnessing that event is the first step to Sarah discovering that she was and is part of a cloning project, two of her other "sisters", suburban soccer mom Alison Hendrix and Ph.D. microbiology candidate Cosima Niehaus, along with her who collectively try to uncover the nature of the project, including who may be constantly watching them, and if there are other sisters out there about which they do not know. They will find that not all of their sisters would work toward the same goalsthem, and that a parallel project has a completely different set of identicals.
I absolutely love this show. The writing, acting, editing, directing are all wonderful. I've loved it since season one after watching the first show and actually waiting each week for the next installment. Everyone focuses on Tatiana Maslany's performances it seems and yes I agree her performances are wonderful but there are a few things she does that are inconsistent and annoy me.<br/><br/>However, Dylan Bruce's performances are brilliant. I'd love to see him do more. Ari Millen's acting is amazing, the different personalities of his characters… Rudy, Seth, Mark are so much more diverse I think than the female clones. The majority of the female clones seem similar in temperament so they don't seemdifficult to present, although maybe that's just good acting.<br/><br/>I was very sad at the end of s3e6. I had so hoped it would go a different way, but that was a beautifully acted scene, so realistic and full of heart and I am an even bigger fan even if a little sad now. I also didn't care for Sarah's reaction to it; she seemed heartless and cold which made me unhappy with her character.<br/><br/>The plot has become a little muddled because it's not clear why US military is so heavily involved with Canadian characters. I want to know more about this.<br/><br/>I look forward to seeing what happens with Mark next season. I am surprised more hasn't happened with Tony or Crystal and that no new clones have come into the picture recently. Waiting with anticipation and hoping to see more happen with newer characters.
First time seeing the trailer made me excited for this upcoming show. It was not what I expect at all. It was great the first episode caught my attention and curiosity. Before I knew I ended the season and was lost. I didn't know if season two was coming or not.<br/><br/>I couldn't wait, I was literally going crazy. I know this sounds crazy too, but when you get so addicted to a TV show all you want is to know if it's a huge success or if it will continue. However all I can say that it's totally worth watching. Very interesting too and<br/><br/>a huge applause and respect for Tatiana Maslany for playing so many characters that well!
